SOTL LITTLE SISTAS
LITTLE SISTAS JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM
The SOTL junior golf program provides scholarships and support for young women and girls to learn and play golf in a nurturing and loving environment. Our mission is to empower Black girls to play golf at their highest potential through mentorship, golf instruction, and tournament play. We strive to create a supportive community of golfers and mentors while providing access to essential resources that will help Black girls reach their full potential. Our goal is to level the playing field and increase the number of Black girls playing golf at all levels.
OUR VISION
Assist in removing the barriers of entry for young Black girls interested in golf and to nurture their golfing and academic development.Provide eligible teen and young adult female golfers with academic scholarships and support for their participation in junior golf tournaments and other events. LITTLE SISTAS IN ACTION
SOTL LITTLE SISTAS SCHOLARSHIP
The SOTL Little Sista scholarship program began in 2014. Our program provides academic scholarships for members seeking higher education and grants to members to support their participation in youth golf tournaments. Our SOTL Little Sista Academic scholarships are awarded annually.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
-
SOTL scholarships are limited to graduating SOTL “Little Sista” high school seniors.

Evidence of academic achievement (minimum overall GPA 2.00 G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale).

Evidence of leadership ability, as demonstrated and verified by participation in extracurricular activities, community service, and/or holding positions in community or academic organizations.

Planning to attend a technical school, a two-year accredited community college, or a four-year accredited college or university.
